Sad day for me…
Moving and can’t take it with me. Currently located in Menlo Park.
900 Bottle Wine Room purchased from Wine Cellar Impressions in San Jose about 15yrs ago and has provided perfect cellar conditions it’s entire life.
The wine room is in excellent condition and was purchased for almost $10K with many upgrades listed below (current cost). The wine room disassembles into four walls, a floor and a bottom with just a few screws. It can be transported in a small U-Haul or flatbed truck and only takes a day to disassemble, move and reassemble. It fits into any garage or large space and its double-insulation and robust cooling unit keeps your wine at the ideal conditions in even the hottest heat waves.
There are slots for 660 bottles of various sizes (see item 5 below for details), lots of storage on top of the racking on both sides for larger formats and space on the floor for many more cases and OWC’s. Side walls and racking can be switched to left or right, whichever works best for your situation.
UPGRADES
- Dark Cherry Stain ($610)
- Arch Window Door w/Smoked Glass ($610)
- Cooling unit upgraded to Breezaire WKL3000 ($915). I replaced the original WKL3000 with a brand new one ($2400) in June of 2019 and it had its compressor replaced by Breezaire in Sept. of 2021 after it developed a small leak. So, the current WKL3000 has many years of life left.
- Double Insulation ($850).
- Custom Redwood Racking ($845) - Left side has 340 traditional (Bordeaux) slots 2-deep. Right side stores 320 larger, Champagne size (fits even the largest bottles coming out of Napa and Paso) slots 2-deep. There is lots storage on top of the racking on both sides for larger formats and space on the floor for many, many more cases and OWC’s.
- Interior lights ($115).
- Door locks ($70).
The measurements of the room are 81" H x 82 1/2" W x 48" deep.
A real steal for $3000.
Cheers!
