Perfect cork. Definitely needs some air. The color is totally brick red. A touch reductive, but that already seems to be blowing off. Classic Barolo tar and dried roses. This is my first experience with this wine and its singing. Got this bottle at Berns in 1996 when they opened up Side Berns. Its in great shape.
I love Vietti and especially Villero. I actually went down to the cellar to check but I’ve drunk all of my 1989’s. I think I had one with a friend when we went to Belgium.
Can you tell me – were there roses on the label? What a beautiful wine.
I did find the 1990 in my cellar. They change the label, the artist tries to describe the wine.
