89 Beaucastel and Flannery Muscovy Duck

Am always afeared when opening 89 beaucastel. Cork was so clean and a huge pop. Probably the best bottle I have ever had

Left the duck in 2 min too long. Still very good though


Wine goes better with the dish than on it’s own

Looks good Jordan. Duck in the top does look a little more medium than i would like but looks very tasty nonetheless.

What’s the white stuff the duck is sitting in?

boil the celery root and potato in milk and cream until soft. Strain liquid into bowl. Put potato and celery root into blender. Keep adding reserved liquid til desired consistency.
