Actually Jeff, the Inn at Gig Harbor has a free shuttle from the airport. You wouldn’t even need a car. We could take care of you from the hotel.
For those of you interested in coming, we are kicking off the festivities with more crab fishing tomorrow followed by the big event at Steve’s on Saturday.
We’ll start around 5pm on the 4th but you are all welcome to come hang at the house any time. There’s plenty of beach, an offshore dock, we’ll have the boat out, and there will certainly be a few bottles open.

When I drink that much I can’t sleep, so I went to bed around 1:30, got up at 5am to clean the beach (the tide was still out) and now I’ve got to clean up the patio and house.
Oh, funny thing last night:
A shark came into the shallow water (we saw the fin), and one of the kids walked out and grabbed it by the tail. It was about 3 feet long.
Said kid should have picked it up and swung it around for the crowd to see!
What species of sharks lives up there?

Bill, the was your garden variety “Dogfish” or sand shark but there are a hundred of different shark in Puget Sound.
I have a few pictures. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of the shark. We WILL find one though.
We shot off fireworks for a solid 3 hours non-stop. I actually got tired of doing it.
