They’re trying out a different weekend in 2026- June 12-14th. One of the best Pinot Noir tastings of the year with a reasonably sized crowd, many quality producers and a beautiful setting. Excited to spend the weekend up there. Planning to attend the historical tasting and the grand tasting. Talked to Jim Klein from Navarro and he said something about pulling out 84,94,04,14,24 for the historical tasting. Anyone else headed up?
New to the berserkers community, but I’ll be going. Went last year and had a blast, been a fan of Anderson valley since. Last year MacPhail was pouring some 2000s vintages made from Toulouse Vineyard fruit, was incredible to try and most of those were alive and kicking
Went three times when living in CA and I always regret not collecting more Anderson Valley PN.
Welcome! If you see a late 30s guy with a baby in front carrier come say hi. Look forward to hearing what you are enjoying at the Grand Tasting.
Doing my best to keep the Anderson Valley section of the cellar well stocked, from alsatians and pinots to zin and syrah. Navarro helps with their very considerate case deals. Lussier is becoming a big part of that section. QPR very high up there. Syrah and Zin from the area are also sleepers. Some of those old vine Zin vineyards in the hills are really special - DuPratt, Fashauer, Perli etc.
Used to kill a lot of Gewürztraminer from AV. I think I still have two bottles of ancient Lazy Creek that I should uncork.
I’ll look out for you! I’ll be a mid-30s guy having a grand ole time since my wife gets to be the DD this time around
I became a member of Toulouse, but also discovered Auteur and Read Holland bc of this event. Read Holland’s AV Riesling has become one of my favorites
