I was good for about 2.5 years. Almost no purchases. Like only 18 bottles in all that time. Fell off the wagon on Vindependence day here. My CT pending list for the fall now stands at 67 bottles. Not enough space to fit it all in the wine fridges at the moment. Fortunately the basement will stay below 70F until next summer.
The only good news is that my wife encouraged these purchases.

My therapist quit responding to my emails.
Pretty sure I’ve got 10 and 1/2 cases headed my way this fall. That’s not counting the additional 18 bottles of PGC 2024 Pinot Noir I ordered as “futures” . . . .
Was just about to start shopping for more Weinboxes, as my cellar really is full and floor space for stacking more cases is just about tapped out.
It doesn’t help that I don’t open as many bottles weekly as I did this time last year, the year before, or the year before that.

That’s the fun part about not being able to ship here in AZ for 5 months. Every November a ton of wine shows up that i completely forgot about and its an early Christmas here at the Brown house

I was feeling guilty at 85, but now I can tell wife I’m not nearly as bad as some others here on the board!!
I’ve said this in another post, but I’m running the NYC marathon in November and have been dry since July. Coupled with a marathon in April, which lead me not to drink the first 4 months of the year and my inventory reduction plan went as well as the Giants first game. I’ve open 6 bottles from my cellar in the window I had time to drink. Planning plenty of parties starting November 7
