Have you (or anyone else) been able to successfully order something online for pickup? I always get stuff into my cart and then it disappears when I go to enter payment information. I presume some issue with their inventory or something. But maybe an issue on my end?
I know even less about patents than I do all of the stuff I pretend to know about here, but arenât there usually extensions given to these things?
There are lots of (Chinese?) knockoffs online for 1/3 the price. No idea if they are worse or different than the real thing.
For example, on Amazon
Whenever I watch las vegas wine guy videos on insta Iâm pretty sure heâs using a knockoff. And if its good enough for himâŚ

No, not typically unless the PTO caused a delay to issue or there is a statutory provision for things like the time to obtain FDA approval when applicable. This patent should expire March 13, 2026, 20 years after it was filed.

Iâve noticed for years that many online somm videos use a knockoff, often one with a pattern on the handle that makes it clear it isnât the name brand product.

Not sure, Neal. Maybe you were thinking of extensions under the Copyright Act. TMs can exist, in principle, as long as used.

Yeah their clearance sale was remarkable at various times. Not as good as a few years ago when they were blowing out 16 bdx for incredibly cheap.
