I am a big fan of the 2019, which is one of my favorite wines at the time. But finally got around to tasting the latest vintage.
2023 L’Envolée — cassis and dark fruit, fine tannins, and solid acidity, opens nicely with 30-45 min air. Tannins present but controlled. Still a baby but drinks well. Definitely Napa, but not over ripe, but also not on the austere side-definitely in the “Goldilocks” zone for me.
Nice work by Caitlin and Quentin- a solid wine worth other Napa fans trying..
