Superb food
2021 Coche-Dury Bourgogne Blanc: at first weightless and reticent in giving up flavors, still though pleasant in the way a wine which goes down like water can be. With time aromas of white flowers develop and the wine in the mouth shows more minerality and takes on weight. Not 1er Cru or GC concentration but highly satisfying.
2002 Hospices de Beaune Mazis-Chambertin Madame Collignon Marc Colin: showing a slightly watery edge at the rim and a highly fragrant aroma of frankincense and other spices and good pure dark red fruits. In the mouth has a classic Gevrey profile of darker fruits and dark earth. In the zone, feel free to enjoy.
1985 Lafite: Classic claret nose of red cassis and tobacco leaf. Flavors of subtle red fruits and a sense of loamy earth. A touch of Brett as well. On the midpalate not as much presence, volume, or flavor as I would have liked. So overall did not meet my expectations. After a few hours began to taste acidic.
2001 d’Yque: spectacular, will live a long time. Saffron, ginger, concentrated peach. With time gained volume.
