2020 Fingers Crossed

This has to be one of the heaviest cases ever. Quite the challenge putting it up on the top rack.

Just got mine yesterday in Massachusetts. Nikolas and Julia are really giving Elaine and Manfred a run for their money with the packaging. Flat-out beautiful.

I don’t think the packaging is the only thing giving SQN a run for its money! This is really excellent wine.

Sorry which producer is this?

Nikolas & Julia Krankl.

Great to hear. I don’t think I’ll get off the Sine Qua Non waiting list if I live to be 185.

Ah yes. Thank you. Mind lapse.

It’s an interesting thought for sure. I applied for the waitlist late, but I’m not sure that I would actually buy at this point. The shipping cost adds an egregious cost to the wine and savvy buyers can find the wine for close to purchase price either via certain online retailers or on the gray market. They are solid wines, but I think producers like Fingers Crossed make the FOMO for SQN much less given the cost of entry.

If you had this conversation with anyone from the church of SQN, it’s quite entertaining. At least one dude clings to the notion that SQN can never be had for close to mailing list price and will go to great lengths to try and prove the point wrong. Highly entertaining. His identity in the wine world is obviously wrapped up closely in SQN.
