Yes, it is! It’s a mid eighteenth-century house (on a 17th-century base) with mid 19th-century additions, that used to belong the the Knights of Malta before the Revolution. It was divided up into apartments in 1985. We bought a few years ago… interest rates are very low in France, and the process surprisingly straightforward (though it is a good test of how well one speaks the language).
