Schrader sales literature indicates that Thomas Brown retained a larger than normal vine canopy to protect the grapes until temps returned to normal and that Brown is monitoring barrels and will only bring forward the best of the lots. Given their statement that failure to order means your allo will be offered to others on their mailing list, I would be reluctant to pass without contacting them to inquire about remaining active in future years.
How long do these take to be ready? I popped a 2013 RBS recently and it was tannic enough I thought it needed five more years.
“These” is pretty broad . And most 2013 Napa cabs still need to sit for some more years.
