2017 Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet A.C. blanc - as good as it gets

Apologies- missed your question earlier. And the answer is yes- this was quite pale, even by Ramonet standards. When I did my initial pour of a tiny sip at opening, the wine was near colorless. The color reference I gave was for a full pour.

As with other white burgundies, color vintage to vintage can vary depending on the vintage, but as a general rule I would say Ramonet wines tend to be on the paler side in youth color-wise, but with some flashes of a slightly green intensity as well (blame it on my training as a faceter- I tend to pay attention to the subtleties of color in almost everything.)

I think you must have misunderstood the CDC guidance.
