2016 Antoniotti Odilio Nebbiolo Coste della Sesia

Recently had this wine with dinner. Decanted for a few hours and consumed over another couple hours. Attractive nose of cherry, earth and rose petals, almost mouthwatering in intensity. In the mouth it was more reserved, lots of coaxing brought red cherry, earth, spice, floral notes and mint. Good acidity and firm but not overly aggressive tannins. Overall a bit closed but lots in reserve here so no hurry but will pair up nicely with the right food.

Sounds good. Not a name I’ve seen on the shelves.
