Was at a wine dinner last night with the owner and sons of a Tuscan producer, Poggio Amorelli.
I didn’t talk to them much, so I didn’t get to follow up with them on something they mentioned which I am bringing up here: how they said 2015 was a fantastic vintage in Tuscany.
I have seen this link: http://www.decanter.com/wine-news/opinion/the-editors-blog/europes-2015-wine-harvest-on-the-verge-of-greatness-276840/ and remember seeing a thread here about 2015 Burgundy, and did search this forum for threads about 2015, and found one about the Napa vintage. But nothing about Tuscany.
So I throw it out there: What do you all think/feel/know about the 2015 vintage in Tuscany?
If you want to answer about the vintage vintage in other parts of Italy, the world, I would read that too.
