i actually saw those bottles in person, they are stored in a cold room and the entire store was air conditioned, so i am not sure where the reputation of bad storage in PA comes from.
tasted 2015 les demoiselles earlier this year and there was way too much coconut on the nose, it was pretty overwhelming. not my style of white burgundy.

They even use DIAM on the inexpensive Beaujolais and Macon wines. Whether that’s a solution we’ll see. But it’s nice that they are using good cork all-around.

Yeah that is a weird cold room, there were bottles of village burg then random 2012 Petrus next to it.

That’s right.

2015 whites showed very well earlier this year and the 2017s were tasting great a couple of weeks ago. They have taken premox very seriously and are now very candid about admitting that there have been problems. Since the house style makes a reasonably strong imprint, aging is essential, so fingers crossed the wines will now age as they used to.

I would go with the Demoiselles over the Montrachet FWIW.

Still 2 Demoiselles, negociant and Domaine? Always prefer the cut in their Demoiselles vs. Monty.

On pre-mox, even as we sell them I had pox’d 2005 and 2006 Monty’s and Demoiselles. Really disappointing.
