Nose of honeysuckle and lemon grass. It jumps out of the glass. Can almost sense the acidity. The mid palate explodes with complex flavors of citrus, mineral oil, and slatey stones. Has a 30 second finish that continues to coat your mouth with flavor sensations. Highly recommend. One of the best sub $30 chards you can find. 94 pts.
You got to check out Cameron’s $19 Chardonnay…beautiful for the $
Are those wines available outside the Pacific NW? I would love to try them but not sure they are available in MA based on their website.
DDO is nationally distributed, Young’s Market has most of the Western USA I believe, not sure which company has it on the East Coast.
FWIW I have been steadily drinking through the 2010 Arthur and it’s been wonderful.
I have 2 bottles of the 2012 DDO Arthur left and will buy more! Would be interested in trying the Cameron.
Cameron is a joy…“Oregon Wine Merchants” thank you…
I hate to make my source public…but they are an awesome supply.
Thanks Kirk. I wont buy too much.
I know…they have a 1-2 bottle limit based on the wine. The $19 Chardonnay was limited to one bottle.
