2010 Bedrock Pagani Ranch Heirloom & 2008 Copain Syrah Brosseau Chalone

Both Slow O’d for 6.5 hours.

2010 Bedrock Pagani Ranch Heirloom
Nose is somewhat muted but strawberry wafts through. Delicious bold dark fruits (berries) upon first tasting. Strawberry is prominent over the blackberries and blueberries. This is fruit city with integrated tannin and a smooth finish. Just a tad too hot but does not significantly detract from the wine. - 91 Pts

2008 Copain Syrah Brosseau Chalon
Nose smells of dark fruits and suggests the wine will be “hot”. The wine is not hot at all, it is balanced with amazing dark fruits, the correct amount of oak (little tannin), and a glycerol mouth-feel. The finish makes my mouth water and want more (nice acid balance). This wine is on the mark tonight, great finish! - 93pts

I really enjoyed the '08 Brosseau as well. Long gone though. Good to see you posting again.
