As I said on the other board, I had the 2010 Madrona in June and it was OMFG-fantastic.
I didn’t know it had been released. How long a decant ?
Ned,
Ran into the Abreu folks on their way to a trade event. The Madrona was uncorked and I was poured a sample. Didn’t hear how long it was open.
I should be so lucky !! Great Wines , always !
I just won’t eat the rest of the month !!
I can’t afford Abreu.
Can’t even come close.
That said, I’d buy every year without hesitation if I could. These are amazing wines.
Email hit and order placed for 3 & 3. Ouch, that hurt!
Ditto !
After laying out $21K for hurricane Proof Windows !!
3 + 3 here too.
Same here…
3+3… Ouch… ouch

I’m out. As much as I like Abreu, $400+ (tax and shipping) per bottle is no longer my thing. Especially as there are a number of wines out there for 50-75% less that are almost as good (and some that are in the $200 range that are possibly better). I don’t fault them for the cost and I wish them well.
