2009 Morgon (Chateau de Pizay) - $13.99 - 13.0% alcohol
Dark purple color. Deep, ripe nose of cassis and roses.
Rich, ripe darker fruited wine with a long, slightly hot finish.
A bit overblown but still a nice mouthful for BBQ usage.
Decent QPR. Not my cup o’ tea. [86+ pts]
