2007 Kollwentz, Point, Blaufränkisch, Burgenland. Almost opaque. Dark aromas of truffles, coffee, chocolate, cherries. Palate is very lively and almost tastes of limestone. Good length and improves significantly with air. Aromas will appeal to people who enjoy slightly richer wines, but the body indicates a very precise and delineated wine. I’ve no experience with the wine so I can’t tell is this is what to expect.
