2007 Fulcrum Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

Great cherry nose with hints of cinnamon. Well balanced, velvety mouthfeel with just the right amount of acidity. This was the last of a mixed 6 pack i bought a few years ago. Ive enjoyed them all and should keep them on my radar.

Thanks for this, Lou…if I have time in May, I may track them down on my California trip…always good to know about another AV producer, sounds enjoyable enough for sure.

Best,

Mike

We have a 6-pack of this wine too, very elaborate packaging but we opened one or two bottles and they seemed kind of dark and sweet if memory serves.

They don’t have a tasting room up here in AV or at all. The wines are custom crushed in Napa and David lives in NJ and travels out to CA as often as he can. They do pour at a lot of Pinot Focused events, like our Anderson Valley Pinot Festival in May, so you may get a chance to try them at an event.

They are definitely not AFWE wines so I am not surprised by your tasting memory. Don’t think I have any of these left in the cellar, most of the bigger pinots in my cellar are all drunk up except the 2012’s.
