2007 Erna Schein Cemetery Cab

I started this as a pop and pour. Fresh out of the bottle this performed quite nicely. Very round, lush, flavorful fruit (almost grapey) with a great mouthfeel and few hard edges. The tannins are fine and subtly silky, but there is an undertow of acceptable astringency. There is minimal bitterness, no harshness, no VA issues, and the finish is medium length and good. The second night was even better. More juicy weight, more grip, and overall an extremely tasty wine. 93+ [welldone.gif]
