2007 Brick House Les Dijonnais Pinot Noir, Oregon

2007 Brick House Les Dijonnais Pinot Noir, Oregon
Gentle woodsy black cherry with mild fir. From the start it projects a feminine understated elegance. Wonderfully integrated red/dark fruit beyond my ability to parse or differentiate. There’s sous bois and a suggestion of conifer. Subtle yet supportive acidity. The midpalate is long and confident yet caressing. The finish glides along effortlessly. It’s not the most complex Pinot but the demure appeal is seductive. Another shitty 07. Thank you Doug Tunnell.
