2006 Williams-Selyem "Coastlands" PN

2006 Williams-Selyem “Coastlands” PN - 14.2%
Medium-dark red with a touch of onion skin at edge.
Spicy mulberry nose.
Firm, sour plum fruit with a long, hot aftertaste.
Nice spicy flavors marred by the high octane finish.
I sense that the 14.2% listed alcohol may be a bit low.

Thanks for the report, Paul. If I may ask, did you serve it with food? I believe I have one of these in the cellar and would be interested on how it paired up with any food you may have served or would serve it with in the future. TIA.

Had it with some beef stew.
Actually went quite nicely…

You can pound it now or age it another couple.
