2006 Louis Jadot Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers

After about an hour of air, big waves of flowers, spices and red fruit spill out of the glass. The palate doesn’t quite deliver what the nose promises, but its just because the nose is so alluring. Medium+ body, ripe red fruit flavors and an elegant balance of citrus acidity and some smooth tannin on a long finish. First bottle out of a case and I look forward to following this over many years. Very enjoyable now with much upside to more cellar time.
