Anyone taste this yet? Thoughts? Responses much appreciated. All I know is J Miller gave it a 92 and I’ve read the “professional” tasting notes, but I’d most appreciate beserker thoughts.
Haven’t tried one since, if I recall correctly, the 2001. I tend not to like obvious oak, but wouldn’t consider myself fanatical about it. That said, the wine I had – from whichever vintage it was – I tasted soon after release and found it showing too much oak to enjoy. There was a lot to like if you could get past the oak, but I couldn’t get past it.
