Ready to roll right out of the gate. Nose of kisrch and cocoa. Bold flavors of black cherry, currant, chocolate and clove. Very soft tannins combine wine some nice minerality and moderate acidity on the long, complex finish. In a good place and extremely enjoyable.
A bit rough around the edges yes, but imagine 3/5 years in bottle?
From March: 2006 Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon - A sweet red and black fruit filed nose, this was multi dimensional and deep. An elegant and mind boggling wine that just keeps giving. What a great deal in today’s market. I will seek this one for my cellar.
