Any thoughts on the 2007 Monprivato?
I thought the 2007 Monprivato was shaping up quite nicely when last tasted, plenty of fruit but nicely precise with fine structure. The 2006 Villero tasted the same day outclassed it.
I feel the same about the 06 Monprivato…
That it was outclassed by the 06 Villero or that it also outclasses the 07 Monprivato?
I had the 06 and 07 Monprivato side by side last month and preferred the 06 markedly to the 07…but that was 1 point in time.We all know how difficult it is to measure Monprivato early.
Interestingly enough,the 07 has 4% each of Lampia and Rose.
When was the last time this happened?
