Anyone lately?
I used to buy Numanthia back then. Last week, I drank my last remaining bottle, but it was an '04 (and it was actually much better than I expected). Haven’t had the 2000 in many years, but I didn’t like the way these wines were aging (a lot of bottle variation with some being good but too many others being pruney and almost port-like) so that’s why I drank the more recent vintages I owned in their youth.
Let us know when you open the 2000!
We have enjoyed both 00 and 04 in the last 12 months. There is some bottle variation but we haven’t run into any pruney/porty yet, and I HATE that profile.
A great bottle of the 00 last summer during a long dinner out on the deck might have been WOTY. We recently had a 04 that was good but not special.
Cuisine pairing will matter here and I can’t imagine this is a summer wine in AZ.
He’s probably got the AC in his house turned down to 62 degrees!!! 
The weather is always right here! Inside is wine and outside is rum!!!
Bud, not 62 but it’s nice and cold. Now the cellar temp is around 50 or so
