2000 Drouhin Pommard

2000 Drouhin Pommard - tight at first with a forest floor and mineral nose. some air brings out some floral nuances. A light wine but it still has a bit of tannins. Medium acidity frames nice cherry mixed in with some iron. Slightly astringant on the finish. Drinks nicely now. Fruit will probablly hang on for a while longer to let the tannins soften.

I think I may have liked mine a bit more. Though I didn’t finsih the bottle and thats rare when Im drinking a burg…The bitter finish just kept me from wanting to take any more sips. The bitterness gew with the night. Either that or my sensitivity to it changed.
