1999 Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée de mon Aïeul - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (4/29/2012)
Drinking great. Brick red transparent at the rim. Smells of forest floor with some iodine. This wine should hold for some time. Intense cherry fruit with some iodine, juicy acidity with fairly firm tannins. Nice long cherry oriented finish. Very good indeed. (93 pts.)

I supposedly have a bottle of this wine in my cellar. I have been looking for it for a very long time, and haven’t run across it. When I do manage to find it, I plan on putting it in the to drink pile.
