1997 Thunder Mountian Bates Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon

Round 2 in the post wine cellar move… Lots of green bell peppers on the nose, like an enchilada with no cheese. Lots of dusty and dry tannins still with lots of bell peppers dominating the leather. The finish is quite long and very full and again dominated by tannins, which overpower the body. These tannins do detract from the overall experience as the fruit isn’t there to support those massive tannins. None the less a very enjoyable bottle and one I’d have again no problem. 90 points. 02/23/09

Now it’s almost time for that Sandeman VP [drinkers.gif]
