1992 Domaine Leroy Nuits Aux Allots

Bricking throughout. Fragrant bouquet of damp earth, crushed dry leaves, iron, minerals, spice and hints of dark cherries and meat. Nice to smell, and the perfume did not dissipate over the three hours this was drunk. Elegant and soft, with admirable concentration for a wine from a bad vintage. Moderate length with a taste of iron and minerals that sneak in at the end. Not a wine of meditation, but a delicious drink that delivers real pleasure. The only other '92 I’ve drunk from Leroy is the Clos Vougeot, which was a revelation.

Sounds very good! I haven’t had any '92s recently…
