had 1959 chat pichon baron tonight at napa rose in disneyland. dropped the bottle off at the guest service before going to the park since restaurant was not open.
upon arrival our waiter brought out the bottle with 2 reidel sommelier stems…great start. pop and pour…WOW. this wine was one of the best bottle i had in a long time.
talk about balance with super long finish…nose and palate of leather, honey banana, cherry, iodine, bubble gum etc…the wine tasted and looked like it was 20 years old and lots of life ahead.
