On an otherwise gloomy day this really creates a little bit of sunshine.
The wine is better than ever now as it shows its acidity up front. Aromas of lychees and tropical fruits, but a lively palate and great after taste. [winner.gif]

I’m drinking the '12 Kick Ranch Sauv Blanc right now and it is just absolutely delicious

Drank two nights ago and it was just as wonderful as it was almost eight months ago. Haven’t written a note on the most recent experience, but here is the note from last November.

2011 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Compagni Portis - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (11/23/2012)
Removed from cellar, opened and immediately the nose on this wine pulls you in with an explosiveness that makes you want to shove your whole face in the glass and breathe deeply. Very floral, with peach, and lemon; palate was the same with some minerals and tartness; medium viscosity and good acid; not overly sweet. Really a joy to drink. (92 pts.)
