1 red, 1 white. <$100, pick only one of each

No top 5 or 10 this or that or countdown. Pick one and only one of each. Only one. Wine, not vintage, not producer. JUST ONE RED WINE AND ONE WHITE WINE. Desert island, nothing else for the rest of your life. $100 each or less, current price (no $20 '82 Lafleur). What are yours?

Mine:
Red: Charvin CdP
White: Vatan Clos de Neore Sancerre

Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc.
Pegau.

Kopke Colheita Port, red.
D’Oliveria Maderia, white.

White- Dauvissat Preuses
Red- Bertheau Chambolle Musigny 1er

White – JJ Prum W-S Auslese
Red – Rougeard “Clos”

Well, since it’s a desert island and we’re talking mostly seafood,

Dauvissat La Forest
Pousse d’Or 60 Ouvrees

Cheers,
Doug

White: Taittinger Comtes (If sparkling not allowed, I’ll do Raveneau Montee)
Red: d’Angerville Taillepieds

Cheers,
-Robert

Hirtzberger Singerriedel
Ridge Monte Bello ($105 so I cheated just a wee bit)

Do Ferreiro Albariño Cepas Vellas

Dujac Chambolle Musigny.

A.

Chateau Montelena (I can drink some young and put some down and be ecstatic with both)
Bollinger Grand Annee (for the same reason, or in the alternative, some Preuses or Les Clos chablis from a top producer)

BTW, I read the OP to suggest that the pair of wines needed to be $100 in total. I would probably class up my white pick considerably if each bottle could be $100.

Cayuse Bionic Frog
Zind Humbrecht Hengst Gewurtztraminer VT

$100 per bottle.

I don’t quite understand the perimeters. Isn’t Charvin the producer? Vatan the producer?
I was going to suggest a Williams Selyem Rochioli River Block Pinot Noir for my red but that includes the producer and the vineyard. I might say Roumier Chambolle Musigny but those can run over $100.
For the white wine I will say Dauvissat Les Preuses (as someone else already said) but again isn’t that a particular vineyard and producer?

I will stick with Pegau CDP but bump up to Leflaive Puligny or whatever Leflaive is regularly less than $100.

Bollinger Grande Annee
Gonon St Joseph

For the red, Francois Bertheau Chambolle Les Charmes.

For the white, I would defer to the wishes of my desert island companion, who hopefully is intelligent, witty, and female.

Bionic Frog
Krug Grande Cuvee

Let me know when you find Krug GC for under $100…

I’ll should of noted I can live with half bottles.
