It was 2004 last month as well. Probably the same shipment. They purchased about 120 btls, from what I hear from a NJ wholesaler dumping Bordeaux.

But why would they be dumping BDX? Only Leve can answer that question.

Come on Bill. You’re misrepresenting what Jeff said… It’s not that prices will never come down, but rather that you’ll never be able to buy Bordeaux for less than on futures. And only in specific years. And only for specific wines. And only if you buy early. And by “buy early” what I mean is only if you are one of the minute handful of people who’ve managed to get true 1st tranche pricing on those top wines. And only if … well… you get the picture.
