When you visited us at GrapeRadio, you mentioned that Bordeaux stemware was best to smell the aromas of Champagne. Yet we remain inundated with flutes for Champagne - why is that?

I think I have already partly answered your question in another thread. I agree that when it comes to glasses (and to so many other things...), habits evolve slower than we may have thought or hoped for, but the change is nevertheless underway. I am glad Dom Pérignon is leading the way.
