Here, I'll make you feel better:

Drank - 417
Sold - 49
Spoiled - 20
Donated - 5

From my cellar only. Other bottles were consumed on vacation at restaurants or at wine dinners.

I am not very good about properly coding removals, but this is a rough estimate:

Drank - 235 (home), 87 (tastings/events)
Donated - 72
Sold - 12
Gifts - 18
Spoiled - 16

Is this just me or with my spouse? The short answer is that the two of us drink a bottle a day. We may miss some days and consume more on days when we are at or give a dinner party. But it probably comes down to that.

My app says 77, but these are just wines out of my cellar. I'd say at least double that drinking with family and friends. It was a down drinking year with my wife pregnant. Good news, wines are aging, bad news, running out of storage space again.

According to CT 71 wines from my cellar, although I don't put quite everything there. Weak, I know. Obviously the overall consumption is more (restaurants, tasting etc) but the general trend really is worrisome as in 2016 the number was 98. Unfortunately I cannot see myself starting to exercise any less and most likely my gf's lack of interest in midweek drinking is here to stay which hinders my excitement of opening bottles.

179 bottles -- a down year for us. BUT! More than I purchased (175), which is a first, and a good sign for my ability to maintain cellar size and not grow anymore.

Open and shared 276 bottles, 6 of which were 1.5l. Ten were 500ml or less - dessert wines. Many went to offlines or were consumed at small group dinners at our house.

According to Cellar Tracker, I drank 66 bottles. Between wines not in my cellar or that were not entered into CT (I'm sure there were a few), I'd guess my total intake was around double that.

Good to look back:

Drank 192
Brought to a tasting 23
Gifted 7
Spoiled 3

Total 225

I'm surprised that only 3 were spoiled, I may not have recorded all of them. My experience is the premox on whites and corked wines end up being 5% of my consumption. So it should have been closer to 10 as opposed to just 3.

Per CT 221, down 5 from the previous year (pregnant wife for 1/3 of the year will do that). As others have said, doesn't include things not entered, restaurants, etc.

Drank 192, of which 97 brought from my collection. Sold 8

There's probably 70-100 additional bottles that I didn't track because they were 'everyday' wines or didn't make a strong impression at a tasting

Total on CT is 166. But that's overstated because the majority of that is wines where I had a small taste at a tasting, or a glass at a restaurant (I've become reasonably diligent about putting up notes, at least on non-plonk). How many bottles bottles did I actually open from my cellar, or share with someone else? Probably somewhere in the range of 50-80.

No exact idea.
Overall made 7 tastings from my cellar (app. 160 bts),
participated in app. 20 other tastings (app. 400 wines by the glass),
visited app. 35 wine-makers (app 300-400 wines tasted),
and consumed app. 300+ bottles at home, often with friends ...
... ah, and on vacation ...(?) maybe 40-50 bottles ...

At home - 547 bottles
At restaurants - 30 bottles? Didn't count all of them.
At other people's homes - don't know.
At wineries - don't know
At tastings - don't know. No full bottles, maybe 50 tastes per, since some of them were smaller tastings
Gave away - 6 bottles
Dumped - at least 10 bottles

CT tells me that I logged 218 "consumptions" during 2019. This should include anything I drank from my cellar, unless I forgot to log it, but would not include any other sources.

Playing around with some of CT's "report" functions is interesting -

Consumed - 218

Oldest - 1970
Most common vintage - 2015 (27 bottles) (33 vintages total, including every vintage from 1993 through 2018)

" " variety - Red Bdx blend (32) - (49 varieties total)
" " producer - Ca' Rozzeria (8) - (too many to count)
" " country - France (123) - (10 countries total)
" " region - Rhône (47) - (31 regions total)
" " sub-region (other than "none") - Southern Rhône (29)
" " appellation - Châteauneuf-du-Pape (14)

Average value - $41.61
Highest value - $460.83 (1998 Ornellaia)

Gifted 23 good!
Missing 1 sad!
Premoxed 2 boo!
Corked 1 hiss!
Kind of happy the flawed ratio is pretty low. Might have stronger words otherwise than boo/hiss.

Interesting, I haven't looked at my consumption over time before. According to CT it was 161 which is almost double what I consumed on average over the previous 8 years. I have no idea why I drank so much last year but I'll have to try to keep it up!

For CellarTracker users it’s a simple report. No effort or need.

I actually never run the report unless someone posts a version of this thread, which happens every year or so.

I Don’t know exactly how many I popped, but I generally drink 1/2 bottle per evening, approx 2-2.5 glasses, perhaps a bit more on weekends and entertaining/restaurants. I’m likely in the 225+ range. For me. My wife pops her own stuff, thinks my stuff generally is dreg.
