  • 2011 Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Ruchottes - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (5/17/2019)
It has just a hint of toast and white mushroom development. There are spearmint and honeysuckle notes along with pure white peach. It is full and textured, with a light butteriness and great volume. There's a cool, plant matter undertone and plenty of minerality. It has Grand Cru depth and complexity and length to burn. Drinking in the perfect spot right now.

Thanks Jeremy
So 2011 was a more than decent year in Chassagne and Puligny?

Claus,

I don't love '11 in Chablis, but '11 Cote de Beaune whites are splendid and right in the drinking zone right now.

Cheers
