Tried this one last night:
1. Harrington TwelveMoons Calif WW (13.2%; 48% each Greco di Tufo/Malvasia from GianelliVnyd/TuolumneCnty;
Moscato from LunaMattaVnyd/PasoRobles; 4 yrs in Acacia brls & SS; 74 cs) NV
: Light burnished bronze/amber quite murkey/cloudy color w/ a light flocculant sediment and lots of tiny bubbles that dissipate rapidly; strong appley/apple cider/rotted apples some earthy/Kansas root cellar/Kansas basement some phenolic/resiny/skin-contact rather strange/exotic slight muscatty/old Muscatel de Setubal very unusual/bizarre nose; bit frizzante/dissolved CO2 strong ripe/appley/apple cider/stewed apples light phenolic/resiny slight muscatty/old Muscatel very rich/rather ripe some earthy/Kansas root cellar some off-dry rather exotic/bizarre/complex flavor; very long/lingering slight muscatty/old Muscatel rather appley/apple compote slight phenolic/resiny/skin-contact slight frizzante some earthy/root cellar very exotic/bizarre finish; quite an unusual/bizarre white; not at all unpleasant but certainly not what I was expecting. $35.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is probably the strangest wine from BryanHarrington that I've yet had. I'll have to find out how it was made and if it was his intent. If I didn't know better, I'd think it might have been re-fermenting in the btl. Will report back.
