To Otto Forsberg: I will try to do that, now.
To Mark Golodetz: I disagree with you a lot, and I suggest you read my post of 4/15/21 at 8:31am under "What happened to Robert Parker? The State of Wine Criticism
in 2018."

Clearly, no one is interested... no matter how many times you repeated it.

It's pretty hard to get banned on BWE. Even during the Grand Inquisition of Gruaud Larose a lifetime ago, no one was officially excommunicated.

this is either a spectacular lack of empathy, self-awareness, or a sad tale of descent into aging :(. I'm not sure which.

I do worry about all the respondents that haven’t been able to resist opening these threads. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I feel like there are two parallel threads in this one thread. One is about the classification of Bordeaux, how to buy highly allocated wines, inks to more info; the other one, not so much.

Mark Maddox : it is very hard indeed, almost impossible, not to think of you as S.O.T.E. It will be great not to see any of your posts any more. On to FV and I almost said F and the letter before V to you but I will refrain. Congratulations (not) on how you treat very old people. RTPL

Richard,

There are many 'old people' on this forum - hundreds - the issue is not that certain members treat 'old people' poorly, it's rather clear that a pattern is developing on your posts here and BWE.

Please stop berating anyone who disagrees with you, and WB is not the place to air grievances about BWE or any other forum, particularly with such specifics.

Your posts are continuously being reported, and with the comments attacking those who disagree with you, and the tone in which they are delivered, consider this a final warning.

Richard, You must be by now aware of the inordinate amount of time and energy that will be expended to "straighten you out" for the error of your ways. You've fallen into the trap of defending yourself with your detractors and then accused of being hostile. Ignore them. 95% of what appears here is of no interest to me. I simply ignore it. But it's a tradition here to trash those who offend the sensibilities of the enlightened.
“To study the Buddha Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self. To forget the self is to be actualized by myriad things. When actualized by myriad things, your body and mind as well as the bodies and minds of others drop away. No trace of enlightenment remains, and this no-trace continues endlessly.”

Yes. A bunch of old men are picking on someone who seems to be having trouble, and then the back and forth is so ridiculous. Some of them think they are so clever with the comebacks. Sad.

What to me is sad (if perhaps revealing) is that nobody but Paul @bbot hae commented on Robert Parker's "reclassification". I disagree with some of it but think it is generally a good "effort". It took me quite a lot of time and effort to come up with it (thank goodness for Grundeken, as it would have taken far longer without it, though it still could be done). I know I have responded too heatedly to several messages, and i do apologize to all. I hope some WB members will look at the "reclassification" and comment on it. Much of my repetition is because I felt few were considering the "lists". Best wishes to all, RTPL
