TN: 2016 Oddero Barolo
This has a luscious core of black cherry. There are all sorts of dried flower nuance and plenty of meat and iron. It has depth and build and plenty of chew to the long finish. Excellent balance and proportion

Re: TN: 2016 Oddero Barolo
Drank a 2009 Oddero Barolo Rocche di Castigilione over the weekend.
Popped the cork 90 minutes in advance (no decant). Big, beautiful, and smooth. Nice mouthfeel with notes of earthy cherries and spice. Resolved tannins. Nice, lengthy finish. Wonderful wine almost certainly best when paired with food.
Probably should transcribe this over to CellarTracker.

I believe that you mean Poderi Oddero. I came across your CT note there. The Poderi Oddero 2016s are quite good, including the base Barolo.
