Yes.
In DE

They just expanded the wine store. Opened tonight.
Bob said they are going to get some better wines and move the lesser priced ones to the racks on the sides.
They always get some Gems around the holidays Steve.
I am seriously considering the Cos but couldn't pull the trigger.
After getting a half case of Leoville Barton 2016 from the futures via Concierge at 85 a bottle and rated a point higher by WS......I just couldn't pay twice that for the Cos.

You need to go by there quickly Steve as there are some other deals right Now!

Costco in Cedar Park (far north Austin) had a bottle of 2016 Petrus tonight for $2499.
Bought a couple of bottles of 2009 Dom for $145 each instead

2015 Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros (USA, California, Napa / Sonoma, Carneros) If you see this at your Costco (mine in Burnsville, MN) for $9.99 it is a no brainer. As good as Ramey Sonoma for a third of the price.

Not a great selection in WDM, IA, but they do have 2008 cristal for $199. That seems like a great price but as a relatively newer collector I still haven’t talked myself into it.

Great price, been waiting for it to land at my local and pick up at least 1/2 a case

Not sure if there are any members up near the Gypsum, CO location (I drove there from Vail yesterday) but they have a pretty dang impressive wine section. Better than what I'm accustomed to in Redwood City CA. Unfortunately I was only there to pick up some cheap plonk for mulled wine. I didn't linger long but I recall seeing 2016 Dominus, Dom 08, a couple First Growths, several other nice 2016 bordeaux, and two or three bordeaux with 15-20 yrs on them. Perhaps folks from Aspen, Vail and Beaver Creek make the trek here to buy wine?

2008 Dom for $144.99

Buying 3 bottles today. Damn! They only have 1 bottle left. 😩

Maybe 5 cases left.

Dude! [training.gif]
I was at Costco yesterday and bought 1.....bottle for 149. blush
I’ve actually adopted a regimen of added one bottle to the cart every time I go...which is a couple times a month. Would like to get a few cases as well. The problem is I’m drinking them just as fast!

Bought a Chateauneuf du Pape at Costco Glendale the other day:

TN: 2016 Delas Chateauneuf du Pape Haute Pierre. Wonderful fruit on the nose and the initial encounter. Like a forest floor of deep red and black fruits, but also some dirt and soil. Very, very integrated and perfectly balanced tannins, smooth and soft ending. So soft that you'd almost think it would end flabby, but it's anything but. Just so well integrated and well made. Wow. 94pts.

I'm total shit with French wines and I'm almost a bit afraid of them, as I've had such extreme variations in quality (to a much higher degree than new world). I don't have the knowledge to know what to get or avoid. To the point where I'd rather go somewhere else to begin with. But this was amazing. Might have to get down there and get some more. Unfortunately don't remember the price now, but it was around $30-40. Which is a steal for this quality.

Sherri- it's a good value at its regular price and a great value at $60. Modern style but very well made and polished. It really opened up with food and will reward a few more years of aging.

#471 had the Dom at $143.

Also 2016 Beringer 'Napa' CS for $21

plus giant lines for returns/exchanges

Most of the champagne / bubbly on offer near the front entrance was about 10-15% more than what our local supermarket chains are selling them for e.g. Roederer Estate is $19 at Costco, $16 at Safeway. Although to be fair the supermarkets require a mixed six purchase and may have slightly lower turnover than Costco. (for champers I'd rather it was not sitting around on the shelf)

I think it’s weird how Costco allows such price variance from store to store. ‘08 Cristal is $229.99 at every store I’ve seen it at in the Bay Area. ‘08 Dom is either $142.89, $144.99 or $149.99. Some forumites in other regions have reported even lower prices for both bottles.

The Yquem is the best of those deals assuming those are full bottles.

The yquem were 750ml.
The price on the malescot is also very good, roughly 20% less than I paid at K&L a few months ago..

Purchase price isn't the same across States based on State laws and distributor pricing models.

Right. But my point isn’t so much about state to state differences. The pricing in-region, as well as SoCal versus NorCal, varies noticeably here in CA. Any possible county and city taxes on alcohol can’t possibly account for the $142.89 pricing on Dom P I’ve seen here in the SF Bay Area, and the $154.99 pricing down south in Orange County posted by another forumite.
