They really are legendary. A '14 Boudriotte blanc the other day was one of the best wines I've had all year, and the Caillerets/Ruchottes are a step above that. I haven't had any of the Grand Crus and, sadly, they're now out of my price range.Subu Ramachandran wrote: ↑October 24th, 2019, 2:14 pmFew more 14 Ramonet whites...Their range of 14s are legendary.

+1. Still buying them. Even Vergers and Morgeot. Clos du Cailleret is stunning.RyanC wrote: ↑October 24th, 2019, 2:16 pmThey really are legendary. 3 pack of the '16 Corra cab and a 6 pack of '16 Skipstone Oliver's Blend in OWC. Think I'm going to sit tight until 2020.

The beauty of their whites in 14 is when even a basic village can more than match many other premier crus. Ruchottes is a GC quality in 14. Sadly I broke the only bottle of Batard I bought!RyanC wrote: ↑October 24th, 2019, 2:16 pmThey really are legendary. Failla and Lioco keeps sending me their stuff. I didn't know I'd signed up for it to be recurring, but I have no complaints. Their stuff is amazing.
Now, where is that Ceritas shipment they charged me for 3 months ago...?![cry [cry.gif]](./images/smilies/cry.gif)

A mattering of 2017 Williams Selyem Pinots. Chris and her girlfriends all really loved this winery, and I could tell it was a hit at a dinner last night. Loaded up.

2016 Billon Côte-Rôtie “Les Elotins” (3 bottles). A K&L Insider’s Advantage sale. I’m not a fan of new oak on Syrah so I passed on La Brocarde and Côte Rozier.

Went to the Fairchild event in NYC and ended up purchasing 3 paks of the ‘16 Stones #3, the ‘17 GIII, and a ‘17 Chardonnay (I regret to say I can’t recall the vineyard). These “complementary” events always turn out to cost a lot of money. Had a great dinner at the Modern afterward.

I just grabbed a new fridge as well, being delivered 11/6. Customer service at Wine Enthusiast has been fantastic. The Rep that I dealt with knew his products back and forth, was very helpful.

Lots of 14s at good prices atm. Few sources have 14 Drouhin Laroze Beze for 130 or so. I think the 14 tawse Beze is closer to 200 but is very good.

I like both; I think DL's new wine making (since 13) is very good and I think they have spectacular holdings for the price point; they're probably the most underrated producer in Burgundy, for now. The Tawse wines are very good, though especially their Musigny, Suchots, and a few others, IMO.

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Have you tried this, or other Siguat in recent vintages? I feel like my burg buying has lost some direction, and was thinking back through producers I've enjoyed, but lost track of... and Siguat came to mind. Thinking about tracking some down, and then saw this post!
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
