27 Half bottles of Krug Grande Cuvée for $53.99 a piece. Random liquor store near Lake Geneva, WI—they got some kind of special purchase from their distributor for the halves and stayed with the usual mark-up. I kindly cleaned them out.

1 bottle of 2008 Roederer Cristal for $206 including shipping. I got the last bottle at WineSlash, a new retailer to me. I'd have bought more at that price had they been available.
Cheers,

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Went bargain hunting on the equivalent of craigslist in France. Splurged a bit on some wines that I'll share with a friend. Hopefully all bottles will be alive and well. Levels were great and questions on storage were satisfactorily answered, but you can never be sure...
5x half-bottles of Chateau de Beaucastel 2008 red (20 euros a piece)
1x Chateau de Beaucastel 1998, 1x 2001 and 1x 2004 ( 190 euros for the three bottles)
1x Palmer 1986, 1x Palmer 1990, 1x Palmer 1991 (320 euros for the three bottles)
1x Grand Puy Lacoste 1990 (120 euros)
Especially excited to drink Palmer 1990 and GPL 1990 as it is my birth year and I have not had the opportunity to taste much wines from this vintage (aside from Chateau d'Issan). Beaucastel 1998 was probably my best bottle last year and I've been looking for any opportunity to buy more at a good price.

I think that I paid more than I should have, but oh well. Love Montrose, and really like this vintage, plus it's cheaper than new releases.

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Ron, you may want to double check your Total Wine receipt and the price of the 2014 Gloria. I purchased a few bottles from Total Wine 2 weekends ago and the 2014 Gloria was $10-15 higher in the system versus the yellow tag amount and online price, $45. Thankfully, I was paying attention at the time.Ron Erickson wrote: ↑July 17th, 2019, 2:01 pm I just blew through a local TW for a case with the 20% discount.

Thanks for the mention. I had caught that when I got home and had called them. I'm guessing its an issue with the SKU number. I still have to go in to get it adjusted. Fortunately it's not too far away.
