We are working on a Gran Reserva right now.... It has a richer flavor in my opinion and since it is a little bigger it will last longer since it won't dry our as fast.

I wanted to order a Gran Reserva ham, but I was overruled by you know who.

So, I'm in for some Lomo Embuchado, Cantimpalo Chorizo and QuesoTetilla de Galicia. I see some very tasty tapas in our near future.

After enjoying the jamon Scott bought and shared with us last year, I had to try a couple other things. Got the Lomo Embuchado and Cantimpalo Chorizo.
The chorizo on here says 8 oz and on the website it says ~ 1 lb. I'm assuming it's the latter.

Funny - I got an email from Gourmets of Spain today asking me to review my purchases. They haven't shipped yet.
(I don't care that they're not here...I'm in no rush. The email was a bit surprising in that context.)

Everyone is getting them...it is an automated message asking for feedback. Apparently it goes out 2 weeks after purchase rather than after shipment.... Sorry for the confusion.

It's been a bit cold here so I have been taking the time to get everything organized and will start shipping what I can this week.

My shipment of ventresca, mussels and caballa are on their way to the shipping port and should arrive within a couple of weeks...if I could get them here sooner I would...

The 2018 EVOO is still decanting and is as planned not shipping until April along with the new 2017 wines.

For those that ordered the 2018 harvest EVOO and the 2017 White and Rose wine, I apologize for the delay. I had to leave Spain rather expeditiously and get Juan back to the US. He is still in the hospital and things are not improving as I had really hoped. At the same time, my enologist (and in charge of the winery and shipments), had an ectopic pregnancy and ended with a major surgery, so my container is delayed on leaving the winery. It will happen, it is just going to be a few more weeks. I apologize for the delay. If anyone prefers not to wait, I can ship you the 2017 EVOO or refund your money whichever you choose.

I have the vinegar here in the USA, it is the EVOO I am still waiting on. I hate excuses so I am not giving excuses but here is where we are. My workers are harvesting, I am awaiting the bottles for the wine to do the bottling, the oil is ready to go. I have to have the container ready to fill. As soon as the bottles arrive, I will divert several harvest workers to do the bottling.

The Veleta EVOO is in route, due into the port of NYC on 11/30 and then I am hoping for quick off load and that it gets to my warehouse within a week. As soon as I have it here it will be shipped out to everyone waiting.

Again I am so sorry it has taken me as long as it has to get it here.
