Berlin Recommendations?

#1 Post by Jud Reis » October 3rd, 2012, 2:08 pm

Going to be there next week for business and have a couple of days on either end to be a tourist. Looking for sight seeing and dining reservation - staying at the Grand Hyatt. TIA!

I suggest you PM Martin Zwick http://wineberserkers.com/forum/memberl ... ile&u=3951 fellow board member who lives in berlin.
I used to have a modest burgundyman url as a signature. Now if you want to learn about luxury winelover accomodation in Meursault you have to finish reading this much more promotional sentence and press the button with 3 W's in it.

Incredible museums in Berlin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mu ... _in_Berlin. Not only the greatest museum you've never heard of, but it's at least the equal of any museum you've heard of, e.g., Louvre, Met, etc.: http://www.smb.museum/smb/sammlungen/de ... =5&lang=en.

Oh, and the world's greatest orchestra is in town, too: http://www.berliner-philharmoniker.de/e ... /calendar/.
