Suggestions for a group dinner in Mammoth?

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Mammoth and I’ll be heading up there with a group of friends in March.

Looking for a casual restaurant that has a varied menu (burgers/ribs to steaks/seafood), great food, fun vibe and can accommodate a boisterous group of 15 or so.

Thanks!

Anyone invited Ron McMartin?

Doh!

Brett,

A few years back, I organized a group dinner at The Restaurant at Convict Lake.

The menu may seem a little on the formal side for what you requested, but the atmosphere is anything but stuffy - think more at mountain lodge, sipping a cocktail by the fire. Thought I’d throw it out there for your consideration. As noted on the site, it’s a 10-minute drive from Mammoth Lakes, so you may want to factor that into your decision, too.

Thanks Kriss. That place does look inviting, but I don’t think it will work for this trip/group.

i lived in Mammoth for 7 ski seasons. try Whiskey Creek. owner Greg Alexander is a very close friend and i can put you in contact with him no problemo.

he’ll buff your group out.
